Wow, Check Out These Sea Lions Feasting On The Skeena Eulachon Run

It’s that time of year again.

It’s that time of year again when small oily fish known as eulachon head up the Skeena River and create a feast for local wildlife. 

Local drone operator Scoopeddad Drone was on the scene this week to film sea lions chowing down on the fish, which have also played a crucial role in First Nations culture as a source of grease and early spring protein. 

“A perfect day,” Scoopeddad Drone writes. And although we weren’t there with him, watching his dramatic video we have to agree. Check it out here
