After a Tahltan guide named Eddy Frank went missing near Iskut, search and rescue crews from Terrace, Kitimat and Atlin sprang into action. Sadly, they haven’t yet been able to find the man.
“We had no luck. There were many different teams on the ground and in the air,” explains local drone operator Scoopeddad Drone, who shot footage of the rescue effort and recently posted some of it on YouTube.
Frank “began a journey near Kinaskan Lake sometime Saturday, and has not been in touch with family or friends since,” CFNR Network reports. “Frank’s jacket was also discovered on Saturday by those searching. No further information is available at this time, but the search is on-going.”
