The Skeena
We don’t know about you, but when we think about surfing we imagine Tofino or maybe someplace tropical like Hawaii. Turns out, you can do it right in the Skeena Region.
Check out this video uploaded by Nick Meyer of a crazy dude using a paddle board to surf the Telkwa River near Smithers. “The river offers so many different feelings,” the narrator says. “Everytime there’s a new wave you’re humbled again.”
