For some, fall in the Skeena is golden hillsides, the crunch of leaves, and the smell of camp coffee and wood smoke. For others, it’s also the perfect time to discover some new tunes.
And singer-songwriter Karl Wyssen has just what you need for this time of year: slow and wistful songs full of warm memories and a trace of melancholy.
Wyssen recently released his first studio quality E.P. titled “May Long”. You can check it out here. He tells Skeena Strong that “the E.P focuses on themes of love, overcoming adversity and life through a northern lens.”
Wyssen is originally from Kitwanga and now lives in Prince George.
He says on website that he’s “a musician, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who has been in love with music ever since his father bought him a bass guitar at the age of thirteen.”
