COVID Death Toll In Prince Rupert Seniors’ Home Over the Past Week Rises to Nine

It was another sad day for Prince Rupert, with Northern Health confirming that an additional six residents of the Acropolis Manor long term care facility have passed away over the weekend, bringing the death toll over past week to nine.

The news for the community was relayed through an information statement. The three previous deaths took place last week.

Northern Health also updated the information related to the spread of COVID at the facility, noting that 25 residents and 15 staff members have tested positive for the coronavirus.
