During Dino Archie’s recent stand-up comedy show at the Bulkley Valley Brewery he admits that he didn’t know much about Smithers when he agreed to perform here.
“Smithers, you wanna go to Smithers?” Archie says, describing the offer he got. “Whatever man, that’s not a place, but sure.” Archie, who has toured across North America and performed on the Jimmy Kimmel show, said his manager told him that Smithers “has the world’s biggest fishing rod or something?”
“That’s Houston!” members of the crowd shout back. “You’re close.”
Archie says he loves performing in Smithers: “This town is absolutely nuts and I loved every minute of it.”
