If you’re from a small place like Hazelton, getting a good job in the trades often means travelling far to get the training you need. But Coast Mountain College has a solution: a 1,000 square foot mobile campus that brings Carpentry Level 2 training to the community.
“I think it’s great, especially for small communities like this, to be able to get the chance to get the same education as other people without having to travel so far,” local student Robert Green says in a recent video.
Inside the mobile units, the College says, “students are getting their hands on state-of-the-art equipment in a classroom that has been fully stocked with the tools and supplies needed for the carpentry program.”
