Prince Rupert has one of the largest volume ports in all of Canada and Bolloré Logistics is helping it grow even bigger.
The company last year opened up the Prince Rupert Container Freight Station, which includes a 20,000 square foot warehouse, one of the biggest in the region. The station employs eight people that Bolloré says were “hired from the local community.”
A new video shows the facility in action, with staff working through weather both warm and cold.
The station’s first major customer is LNG Canada, but Bolloré has plans to grow beyond the gas sector, saying it’s “poised for growth and ready to take on new customers.”
“The goal is to offer a permanent transload presence at the Port of Prince Rupert, even after the end of the LNG Canada project,” it explains.
