Skeena Roads Are So Damn Icy That This Guy Skated On Them

We don’t need to tell you that the weather has been a bit crazy lately.

But as a Pacific frontal system dumped snow across the Skeena and brought freezing temperatures, some people decided to embrace the chaos. 

“To show how bad our local roads are I put on my skates and decided to go skating,” explains local drone operator Scoopeddad Drone in a new video posted to YouTube.

He says that his skates were sharpened at Scott’s Skate Shop in Terrace. 

While the skating was fun, he said the thrill wore off after a few minutes.

“Then you get quite upset because driving is almost impossible,” he writes.
