A new short film uploaded to YouTube by B.C. filmmaker Nick Quenville has the deceivingly simple title of “Bears.” But the experience of seeing high-def footage of bears traversing the province’s wild landscapes and feasting on fish is nothing short of majestic.
“Oh wow!” reads the reaction of viewer. “Pairing bears and Leonard Cohen (especially this particular song) was just too perfect for me to not break into tears.”
The Smithers-based Northern Lights Wildlife Society called the video “a beautiful creation by our friend Nick Quenville.” Set aside four and half minutes to watch the whole thing. You won’t be disappointed.
